LISTENING TO EACH OTHER AND GROWING TOGETHER

Let's imagine regenerative futures! That is the aim of a new ALL-GENERATIONS LAB, which is being run as a collaboration between the future platform ReGenerativa and the MuseumsQuartier Wien, supported by Österreichische Hagelversicherung. The joint event on December 1, 2025, at MQ Libelle marked the start of the preparatory process for the first ALL-GENERATIONS IDEAS SUMMIT: ReGeneration, planned for fall 2026.

The program covered a wide range of topics, from regenerative agriculture and landscaping, as well as soil protection, to regenerative exchange between cities and rural areas, and the vision of cities brimming with nature, to the emergence and flourishing of a (non-partisan) ecological and regenerative class of all generations. It became clear that the key to shaping regenerative futures lies in the broad anchoring of a regenerative mindset – which in turn is closely linked to the development of a cross-generational ecological class. We must (re)learn to listen to each other in general, but especially between generations. Only when we are better able to assess positions that differ from our own can we create the basis for honest dialogue, exchange arguments, and clear up any misunderstandings. Regeneration is the great counter-narrative to a world of division and polarization. It is a holistic project, inspired by art and culture, of growing together—not only among ourselves as humans, but also with nature and its other species. Let's build a flourishing future together!
