5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, in Vienna

Following the launch event on December 1, 2025, for the ALL-GENERATIONS LAB: Imagine Regenerative Futures—a collaboration between the future platform ReGenerativa, the MuseumsQuartier Wien, and the Österreichische Hagelversicherung—the focus in 2026 will be on organizing the ALL-GENERATIONS IDEAS SUMMIT: ReGeneration, scheduled for this fall, including the necessary preparatory process. A key part of this preparatory process is the organization of a WORKSHOP on the topic “From Soil Protection to Regenerative Landscaping – Artistic Visions & Ideas.” The WORKSHOP aims to discuss visions and ideas for soil protection, a holistic regenerative approach to soil management, and regenerative landscape design from a cross-generational perspective and through the imaginative power of various art forms, and to develop concrete key points suitable for inclusion in the “ALL-GENERATIONS MANIFESTO ReGeneration” to be drafted in the fall of 2026, and to outline implementation scenarios.

The WORKSHOP is organized as a collaboration between the future platform ReGenerativa, the MuseumsQuartier Wien, and the Österreichische Hagelversicherung, in additional partnership with the Research Cluster | Sustainability in the Arts, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (Lead Coordinator Rainer Prohaska) and the FUTURAMA°LAB The Art of Ecological Transformations.

The following speakers have confirmed their participation: Sabine Kleinhagauer, MANY TREES, Vienna; Franziska Leeb, architecture writer and journalist, Vienna; Karoline Mayer, curator, photographer, and filmmaker, curator (together with Katharina Ritter) of the exhibition BODEN FÜR ALLE, shown at the Architekturzentrum Wien in 2020/21, Vienna; Rainer Prohaska, Lead Coordinator of the Research Cluster | Sustainability in the Arts, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, artist, FUTURAMA°LAB The Art of Ecological Transformations; Christian Reinecke, architect specializing in regeneration, care, and the relationship between humans and nature, staff member at the Institute of Fine Arts, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna; as well as Sigrid Schwarz, expert in soil science, Austrian Soil Science Society, lecturer at the Institute for Integrative Nature Conservation Research, BOKU, Vienna.
