Preparations continue for the ALL-GENERATIONS IDEAS SUMMIT: ReGeneration, planned for fall 2026 at the MuseumsQuartier Vienna: Following the launch event on December 1, 2025, of the ALL-GENERATIONS LAB: Imagine Regenerative Futures—a collaboration between the Future Platform ReGenerativa, the MuseumsQuartier Vienna, and the Österreichische Hagelversicherung—and the WORKSHOP on soil conservation and regenerative landscaping, held on May 11, 2026, at the headquarters of the Österreichische Hagelversicherung, the next WORKSHOP, on July 6, 2026, at the MuseumsQuartier Vienna, will focus on regenerative architecture and regenerative urban planning, as well as artistic visions and ideas related to this important topic.

The WORKSHOP aims to explore, from an intergenerational perspective and drawing on the creative potential of various art disciplines, visions and ideas for regenerative architecture and regenerative urban planning, with a particular focus on the potential for regenerative conversion, carbon architecture (such as wood architecture) for the creation of carbon sinks, the circular construction industry, and urban renaturation measures as climate protection and adaptation strategies. It is also intended to develop concrete key points suitable for inclusion in the future “ALL-GENERATIONS MANIFESTO ReGeneration,” which is to be adopted at the Ideas Summit in the fall, and to outline implementation scenarios.

The WORKSHOP is organized as a collaboration between the Future Platform ReGenerativa, the MuseumsQuartier Vienna, and the Österreichische Hagelversicherung, in partnership with the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) / Faculty of Architecture and Planning, the Research Cluster | Sustainability in the Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (Lead Coordinator Rainer Prohaska), and the FUTURAMA°LAB The Art of Ecological Transformations. 

The series of substantive inputs will be opened by representatives of the additional WORKSHOP partners, namely Dean Professor Rudolf Scheuvens from the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) / Faculty of Architecture and Planning, and Rainer Prohaska as Lead Coordinator of the Research Cluster | Sustainability in the Arts, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. 

The following additional experts have agreed to generate new insights: Architect Renate Hammer, Managing Director of the Institute of Building Research and Innovation (IBRI); Professor and Architect Marie-Therese Harnoncourt-Fuchs, founder (together with Ernst J. Fuchs) of The Next Enterprise Architects; Architect Dominik J. Philipp, CEO and Partner at Dietrich Untertrifaller Architekten; and Professor and Architect Christine Schwaiger, Program Director MA in Interior Architecture & Visual Communication, New Design University St. Pölten. In addition, experts from the younger generation, such as Johanna Schmerold and Isabelle Siegelmayer, will present cutting-edge projects. The event will be moderated by the Artistic Director of ReGenerativa, Christoph Thun-Hohenstein.
